Well known for their collaborative ways, Supreme is coming back with their 3rd collaboration collection with Lacoste. The first collaboration between these 2 brands dates back to 2017, which when dropped, was shocking to fans. Now it seems like we will see more of this collaboration in the coming years.
The collaboration for fall 2019 will consist of the usual Tennis aesthetic – the Pique long sleeve polos and matching pants. There are puffy Half-zip pull overs pieced together with matching track pants. We also see accessories such as Messenger bags and beanies in all their respective colours.
It is not surprising that loud pieces are key to both these brands. With this collaboration, they will be launching Wool bomber jackets with features such as the signature Green Crocodile at the back, referee-inspired Cardigans, and hooded Sweatshirts with matching sweatshorts.
I have never heard of these 2 brands previously collaborating back in 2017 and 2018, but I would love to see the pieces from those collaborations. With that said, I am really impressed by most of the pieces from this current collection and I would love to wear them. My favourite piece from this collection is the referee-inspired cardigans (especially the black and white pieces). Most importantly, I love how both brands used their respective colours on the Messenger bags and beans. This should be a continuous trait because it just illustrates how both brands respect their individual brands (Wong, 2019).
